The End is Near - Kinda


The end of what you ask??? Well..... it's the end of WOA until we are done with our concentrations. After this week it will be the end of the Breadth sections. The end of the semester.

You guys are all rock stars. You keep stepping up to the plate and hitting home runs. Your the bees knees. The cats meow. Do bees have knees? Why would someone make up a phrase like that. 10 extra points for the first person who finds out...1. Do bees have knees? 2. What does that mean, who came up with it and why? Any other lovely phrases like bees knees or cats meow? Hit me with some good ones. (this was a crazy tangent I went on :)

Mr Provost sent me this super kool link to an artist who makes stuff out of chicken wire. I don't know if you've ever played with chicken wire before but it's nasty stuff. Kudos to this guy.

    Bees do have knees apparently! crazy. all i can figure out about what that actually comes from is that bees carry pollen in sacks on their knees so their knees look kinda large but... i don't really know why someone would make the connection from looking at fat knees to the expression! haha.
