I love Christmas and the break however it always means that January is around the corner and January is SCARY!!!!! Just like this clown.
Here are just a few of the things that need to be done before break:
1. Your secret Santa gift. You need to make it with your own little hands. Something that means something to the person who will be receiving it. Secret Santa is on Thursday, December 16th.
2. You should be working on your 100 photographs. Don't torture yourself and wait until the last minute. Many of you will be using these images for your breadth section and to create a Scholastic photography portfolio. They need to be FANTASTIC but don't over think things. Just do it.
3. Take a picture of yourself delivering your poster to the person who bought the ad. If you can't get there in person take a picture of yourself mailing the poster to your person. Post the image on your blog as your Tuesday blog update.
4. Sign up to help out with Empty Bowls. Great way to earn NAHS hours. The sign up sheet is in Ms. Burnhams office.
5. Work on your concentration pieces. Two concentration pieces are due on the first day we get back from the break.
During the break
1. Open Studio 10 - 4 December 29th. Check the blog to make sure it's still going if there is nasty weather. I may get into the studio on other days as well. I will post to the blog and let you know if I'm there and for how long.
2. I would love to meet with anyone who is planning on submitting a Scholastic Portfolio on the Open Studio day. It would be a great time for us to sit down one on one and create a fantastic portfolio that will win you lots of scholarships!
