Sometimes artists get stuck in a rut and need a little inspiration. Fortunately for you Portland is a city that loves its art. The following are links to great opportunities to see lots of art all at once. First Friday and First Thursday are not as busy during the winter months. For those of you who have not tried a First Thursday or Friday event you walk or drive from gallery to gallery and see the new exhibits/artists work. Galleries stay open later than usual and usually have a few snacks to munch on.

It would be pretty cool to go to one of these as a class field trip or something. (Hint, hint)
ReplyDeleteBoth first thursday and first friday are so awesome. For the people that haven't gone usually first thursdays a lot more more high class gallery work and first fridays a lot more relaxed and is mostly people just sitting out on the street displaying their work
